When a new mirror is brought into a family’s home, it opens a window into their lives as hard decisions teach them about love, life and identity over generations.

I was inspired to tell this story from the countless house museum visits I’ve gone to with my mom. She is someone who loves history and seeing where people lived. Each time we would go, if there was a mirror, I would find myself asking “how many people have looked in here before me? What were their stories?” We believe that objects have just as many stories as the people who owned them.
